To reach all residents in the Roaring Fork watershed, we recruit and train Neighborhood Wildfire Ambassadors who mobilize their communities to engage in wildfire safety and preparedness activities.
We currently support 64 Ambassadors across 4 counties in our watershed!
Ambassadors participate in annual training and receive ongoing education, resources, and assistance with mitigation pr their neighborhas beingojects, as well ood's point of contact for wildfire resiliency work.

Joining our Neighborhood Wildfire Ambassador program is a great first step in mobilizing your community to engage in wildfire safety and wildfire preparedness activities. You do not need to be an expert in wildfire or firefighting!
As a Neighborhood Wildfire Ambassador, you'll:
--Conduct neighborhood outreach in creative ways tailored to your neighborhood's population,
--Attend annual trainings and quarterly meetings to connect with other ambassadors who care about fire mitigation,
--Work with others in your neighborhood or HOA to plan and complete projects to ember-proof homes and protect your community.
